National Hero Day was created by Roma Newton of 6Degrees Management, Darren Prince of Prince Marketing Group in partnership with National Day Calendar. The Calendar is known as the go-to source for information on national holidays. The Registrar at National Day Calendar proclaimed National Hero Day to be observed annually on October 8.

At Inner Beauty Hidden Hero our vision is to seek out the Inner Beauty within all of us and to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of the Hidden Hero that often go unrecognized, but if brought into the light, can inspire others. Our purpose is to promote and support current world-facing causes focused on giving back to their communities. Every year we partner with charitable organizations by raising the awareness of their mission and elevating their platform by leveraging the NIBD network of influencers to express activism through social media call-to-action campaigns.

I.  In 2018, our organization expanded our platform and was proud to recognize and award our first Hidden Hero, two-time heavyweight champion and boxing icon, George Foreman, by honoring him in a red carpet event on the 50th Anniversary of his Olympic Gold Medal Win in Mexico City, for service to his youth ministries and support for the Job Corps.

This year, we are honored to be partnering with Darren Prince of Aiming High Foundation, a 501C3 where 100% of the proceeds provide treatment for those suffering with substance abuse and mental health issues. Darren is an international bestselling author of his memoir, “Aiming High,” a prominent sports/celebrity agent and a global advocate for addiction and recovery. His agency, Prince Marketing Group, represents icons such as Magic Johnson, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jerry West, Oscar Delahoya, Roy Jones Jr, Chevy Chase, Denise Richards, Carmen Electra, and many others, as well as the late Smokin’ Joe Frazier, Muhammad Ali and Evel Knievel. Darren is a highly sought after speaker on addiction recovery and mental health. He specializes in helping high functioning addicts and at-risk executives to identity and avoid the pitfalls of addiction. He also works with teens on self-esteem and self-worth.
